Recently fishing has been fantastic here in Door County! We are mainly fishing deeper transitions with Drop shots. Fish have been in 15-30 FOW. The Smallies were out chasing Alewife’s towards the end of July which made fishing kinda tough, Since then they are back to there normal haunts and feeding! Finding simple rock to sand or rock to weed transitions are where we are locating the larger groups of fish. We have had some recent days with over 60 Smallies!!! We are also starting to get a lot of Sturgeon Bay Ice Fishing bookings over the past two weeks! Thanks and we cant wait to see everyone on the Frozen water of Green Bay this winter for Whitefish catching!
