Jimmy has been fishing the Island for years. He has an amazing understanding of the Smallies that inhabit the water near the Island. Late July-Mid August shallow water Smallmouth Bass fishing provides the best action for trophy Door County Smallies. The crystal clear water paired with cooler water temps keeps the forage and the Smallmouth Bass in the shallows all summer long.
